Ližnjan is located in southern Istria, about 10 km from Pula and 5 km from Medulin. Surrounded by olive trees, pine forests and Mediterranean vegetation, it overlooks a wild, unspoiled coastline – perfect for nature lovers.
From the village, you can easily reach Kuje Bay and the Marlera Peninsula, as well as Kamenjak Cape and Levan Island.

The beaches are mostly pebbles and flat rocks, with clear seabeds and transparent waters, ideal for snorkeling. The coast is known for its natural and wild beauty. Kuje Bay is among the most beloved for its tranquility and services, but there are countless coves to explore.
Yes! Ližnjan is home to several scenic cycling routes that connect Medulin and the coast. Reaching Pula or Kamenjak National Park by bike requires a bit more training, but they are still connected. You can rent bikes, e-bikes, and quads in front of the Del Mar Emotion facility.
It’s recommended for conveniently visiting the surrounding area (such as Pula and Kamenjak Park), but many local beaches and essential services are also within walking distance.
Ližnjan is a hotspot for windsurfing and kitesurfing (Marlera area). You can take taxi boat trips to the islet of Levan (known for its sandy beach), snorkel, and visit local olive oil producers. Pula and Kamenjak are just a short drive away.
